The Engagement Director we hire will require knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep within the Information Technology domain. The person will need an ability to share and communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to executive staff, business sponsors, and technical resources in clear concise language that is the parlance of each group. Below is the job description for this role 1. Been part of at least one Enterprise Agile implementation namely SAFe, LeSS or DaD 2. Strong knowledge on Agile methodologies like SCRUM and Kanban 3. Must have had P&L ownership 4. Strong appreciation of DevOps namely Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Inspection, Continuous Monitoring and Continuous Provisioning 5. Create, lead and develop a cross function feature teams and ensuring the correct team structure and skill competencies. 6. Own the delivery roadmap, working with the Product Owner to prioritise a backlog and planning the releases with the teams 7. Servant Leadership who can roll up the sleeves and work the team to resolve impediments and creating a learning environment for the team 8. Identifying right metrics, tracking and taking corrective action 9. Have oversight over the architecture, working with your technical leads 10. Ensure an efficient software methodology is in place, aligned to agile / lean principles, learning and iterating frequently, highly collaborative and regularly improved. 11. Align to the DevOps principles and toolsets being established with high degrees of automation throughout the development process. Continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous operational monitoring are baseline goals. 12. Ensure that security, reliability and performance are embedded into the team skills, development process and architecture. 13. Measure and monitor the solutions you develop, regularly reviewing operational metrics to validate the effectiveness of your product in meeting customer needs. 14. Excellent knowledge of modern platforms and tools, using the correct product where appropriate, especially open source and open standards. 15. Communicate through email, presentations, informal meetings right across the organisation (including senior management and executive team) to share learnings, insight and plans, gathering feedback and influencing in the process.
