We are looking for an experienced Risk and Internal Controls expert who acts professionally and according to business principles and company values. With a hands-on mentality, the (Senior) Manager Enterprise Risk Management & Internal Controls will be responsible for a wide range of duties contributing to the strategic development and improvement of organization's ERM system while also designing and implementing a group-wide Internal Controls System. The incumbent will support the global rollout and implementation of a new ERM tool and will deliver ERM workshops/trainings nationally and internationally (post COVID-19), ensuring a strategic and efficient set up of the organizaton's risk environment. Responsibilities Design and implementation of a group-wide Internal Control System Continuous improvement of the Internal Controls to cover critical risks Conduct controls and process owner trainings Perform walkthrough remotely / on site to verify design adequacy Maintain flowcharts including mapped controls (IT) Administration of the ICS IT tool (user administration, permissions, risk parameter setup, tool maintenance, etc.) Develop and establish a sustainable ICS reporting in close collaboration with the ICS team Continuous development, maintenance, and improvement of the Internal Control System Development and improvement of the ERM system (Risk Organization in a complex matrix organization globally, Risk Assessment Methodology, Risk Universe, ERM IT System, User Training) Administration and management of the quarterly risk assessment and reporting cycle, including risk assessment meetings and workshops ERM Report preparation (IT) Administration of the ERM IT Tool (user administration, permissions, risk parameter set-up, tool maintenance, etc.) Perform ad-hoc reporting in line with Corporate Policies Maintain and update ERM & IC Policies, Guidelines and Procedures Qualifications Academic degree in Business Administration, IT or Engineering. A master’s degree, professional ERM and/or IC certifications is a plus The successful candidate has a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing ERM and IC system(s), preferably with a Big4 consulting background in combination with later industry experience: Several years (min. 4 years) of relevant working experience in renown consultancies, larger enterprises, and international environments. Experiences in/with (construction) project business is a plus. Fluency in English, orally and in writing. German or knowledge of another European language is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office application and SAP is a requirement Experience with other IT-tools, e.g., MS Share Point, PowerBI, etc. and/or ERM/IC tools is a plus Travel requirement of approximately 20-30% (post COVID-19)
