POSITION DETAILS This position will be responsible for leading and transforming the Radolfzell site aiming at providing excellent service and quality to our customers while delivering a financial performance which taps the full potential of the site. The incumbent will develop a strong leadership team to jointly improve the operation through the deployment of the CIRCOR Operating System (COS). Key deliverables are safety, quality, and on-time delivery, driving the Radolfzell site towards Operational Excellence. The Senior Director Operations will also act as a Managing Director for the Allweiler GmbH. Principal Activities Leadership of the workforce to meet the financial, operational and strategic plans for the site. Ownership for the local P&L performance and forecasting accuracy from Top line execution to Adjusted Gross Margin (AGM); coordination of OpEx and CapEx. Executing and refining the ongoing 5-year site transformation plan. Strategic development of operations for the site including review or development of make or buy decisions, capital investments and process improvements. Improvement of the critical KPIs (e.g., safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity and working capital) and site operational performance through COS. Improvement of the procurement processes to support the business. Delivery of the inventory and payables goals for the site. Driving and improving the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process (SIOP) to ensure adequate supply and capacity to execute on budgetary plans. Provide forecast analysis and establish proactive management on forecast accuracy. Talent development within the site. Build rapport with other functions to work effectively in a matrix organization. Ensure a smooth and productive collaboration with the workers council and union representatives. Maintain network with peers at other sites within business unit and across CIRCOR. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent. Master’s Degree in Business Administration desirable. At least five years’ experience in a key Operations leadership role (e.g. as plant leader) in a business of similar size / scope / complexity. Strong business acumen, P&L understanding, and strategic thinking with demonstrated accomplishments. Deep knowledge of SIOP principles and processes. Proven performance in setting and exceeding customer satisfaction goals and profit targets. Effective change leader who challenges the status quo and acts with a sense of urgency to drive results. Effectively balances consistency with flexibility and willing to change ideas in the face of new information. Track record of continuous improvement; Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma training and/or experience preferred. Superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate and engage personnel at all levels of the organization. Self-starter with high energy level. Innovative thinker. Fluent in both German and English languages.
