Overview: Finish purchasing activities in EU region. Main Responsibilities: 1. Finish all program purchasing activities in line with customer demands and being involved into part of commodity strategies starting from phase 0 and over lifetime. 2. Responsibility for achieving the European Purchasing goal- and action-plans. Meet or exceed profit plan goals: Cost Savings, economics, quality, supplier rationalization and other agreed objectives 3. Provide financial expertise/support in terms of PD2 specifications, tooling + investment budgets, customer conditions, cost tracking, etc. so that program targets and purchasing goals are met 4. Guarantee financial control over the programs from phase 0-5 and over lifetime 5. Coordinate the supply chain requirements e.g. when/how to source, early sourcing, cross program supplier selection etc. 6. Guarantee integration and communication with SDT Teams 7. Ensure smooth project launches by controlling the acquisition, sourcing on time, in line with cost book and maintaining purchasing results until SOP 8. Support of proper Make or Buy decisions 9. Guarantee compliance with IOS (International Operation System) procedures 10. Improvement of program-profitability as well as of all purchasing activities for the purposes of continuous improvement through global sourcing, long/life-time reductions etc. 11. Support efforts concerning supply base rationalization and supplier development 12. Support to solve the supplier's issues and participate in supplier capacity improvement activities Requirements: 1. Education background: Commercial or technical bachelor’s degree or above 2. Working experience: – >5 years in automotive seating industry – Rich experience on complete seat business and be familiar with EU local supplier resources – Purchasing experience, operational and strategic involvement 3. Personality and soft skills: – Comply with the requirements of the company values – Good at basic office software operation skills 4. Fluent in English and customer language 5.
