Mechanical Engineer

Role: Mechanical Engineer Location: London, UK Job Description: 1. Master/ Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2. Interpret Client and marketing input to define technical design requirement, follow design control requirements to design, prototype, test and validate product concepts. 3. Design of sheet metal parts/ Plastic parts / turning/milling parts , 2D/3D CAD experience using SolidWorks 4. Technical Drawings support according to ISO 8015 5. Using SAP System for BOM and CAD handling 6. Design, develop, improvements, modifications to existing designs and layouts/assemblies based on customer requirements 7. Apply knowledge of general engineering principles, materials, structural mechanics and reliability to achieve product design requirements. 8. Actively involved in developing new products and prototypes with a clear focus on design for cost, quality and manufacturability. 9. Provide technical expertise across areas that may include a technical specialty covering areas such as injection molding, sheet metal, fabricated components, die casting, etc. 10. Performs tolerance analysis, feature function maps, mechanical FMEA, collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and various contract manufactures 11. Working with cross-functional teams in agile environment, communicate with offshore team 12. Good Decision-making and Communication skills
