The Key Account Manager interacts with commercial and technical key contacts to support the relationship with customers. Responsibilities include account management, new business development and company representation at customer sites. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include: Responsible for selected blue chip customers in the automotive industry incl. Planning, quoting and executing new business opportunities First contact person for the customer, voice of the customer inside Aludyne Understanding and communicating customer requirements throughout the organization Support any kind of technical, quality, commercial and management meetings with the customer Develop new customers as well as develop replacement plans for existing programs. Study competition and look for new opportunities. Possess marketing intelligence. Participate in early sourcing agreements and meetings. Participate in internal quote feasibility reviews to prepare quote. Get feedback from customers regarding programs not awarded. Employees are expected to work onsite to attend in person meetings and collaborate as necessary. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales or Vice President of Sales Skills, Knowledge and Competencies: Drivers license for passenger cars Ability to deal with multiple levels of people effectively, in group and individual settings. Ability to effectively deal with customers. Basic computer literacy. Basic math and business writing skills. Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and manage projects to successful completion. Requirements Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Economics with at least 3 years combined manufacturing, accounting and sales experience. Strong personal interest in the automotive industry is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills required. Fluid in German and English language.
