Territory Manager – Disruptive Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Company– Southern Germany I am working with one of the most exciting companies in MedTech in the field of Orthopedic / Sports Medicine Medical Devices. Their product us unique in the world and is doing incredibly well. As a result the team are now expanding and looking for a Territory Manger to work in Southern Germany. The team also have some business in Switzerland and are looking to enter Norway so some limited travel to these locations would be necessary BUT the main are of concentration will be Southern Germany. You will be supported by your Regional Sales Director and a Territory Associate. This is seen as a stepping stone to the next level as there are lots of opportunities for progression and development in this company which believes in growing talent and promoting to the highest level. A pioneer and industry leader in individualised technology for the treatment of painful joint injuries, this company are known for making the world’s first truly bespoke patient solution in this field. Their product enables surgeons to bespoke implants according to patient need rather than a ‘one size fits all’ . Surgeons love the product and sales are very healthy. As a result of their success the team are now seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to join as they continue converting more surgical teams and hospitals to utilising their exciting and innovative products. They are looking for someone with a track record in orthopaedic or sports medicine sales with a hunger to make a difference, build sales and have great people skills. Key responsibilities of the Territory Manager You will build relationships with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals whilst helping to produce the best possible patient outcomes. As a Territory Manager you live out your mission to change lives by selling our client’s products and making healthcare better. · Support the Sales Director whilst being primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory, working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and clinicians. · Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives. · Able to convince key customers in the industry of a new product- Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone and face-to-face). · Build a market and create strong relationships with new customers by developing and implementing sales strategies. · Conduct sales and price negotiations with support from the Sales Director · Help to grow the business · Establish budgets and meet deadlines for accounts · Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available. · Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs. · Address any problems that arise at the account. · Work with the Sales Director and be open to coaching, training or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed. · Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications. · Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends. · Participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required Role Requirements · Bachelor’s degree required- orthopaedics/ medical / science or equivalent epoxeirnece. · Demonstrated ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market · 1-3 years demonstrated sales success in competitive B2B industry. · Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments. · Medical Device sales experience, ideally in the orthopaedic/ sports medicine space- experience as an associate in the industry is a plus. · Based in the territory · Market expansion and business development skills · Excellent communication skills · MUST be fluent in German and English · Car owner- · Strong sense of urgency is important. · Access to your own transport Benefits: · Attractive salary package and all the benefits of a great company · Attractive commissions on top of basic salary · Reasonable expense account · Strong career development prospects- opportunity to become a great and senior sales leader in this exciting company · The opportunity to grow out a market and create business · The opportunity to work with new, unique and highly innovative technology · Great atmosphere and lots of fun- the surgeons welcome you as one of their own!
