DevOps Engineer (m/w/x)

With our Styla team, we are changing the way brands and retailers interact with their customers digitally. Our technology enables stores to run a decoupled store front-end and PWA on their headless store system, with split-second load times and unprecedented stability, which boosts conversion rates, especially on mobile devices. We are now bringing this technology to market, targeting small and medium businesses around the world using BigCommerce store technology.

For our IT-Department, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/w/x) to become part of one of our core teams and focus on further improving our highly successful automatic design technology.

Challenges that you may solve:

• Become part of one of our core teams and focus on further improving our highly successful automatic design technology


• Developing and improving our DevOps processes


• Monitoring, maintaining and constantly improving our infrastructure and deployed applications


• Automating and orchestrating workloads


• Defining, deploying and building all aspects of our infrastructure


• Working closely with our engineers to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently


• Mentoring and training other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes company-wide

For this, you ideally bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position


• Deep knowledge of Terraform or another IaC solution


• Usage skills for OpenTracing instruments


• Experience with Kafka or similar monitoring tools


• Skills in working with AWS


• A sense of responsibility and hands-on mentality


• The desire to learn, use new technologies and wanting to contribute your ideas

'Nice to have' would additionally be:

• Experience in Fullstack-Development or either in Frontend or Backend


• In-depth knowledge with at least one modern backend technology and the deployment of frontend projects to help better understand the needs of our backend and frontend engineers
